Since its inception as River Nene Regional Park in 2004, the Nene Rivers Trust has delivered a suite of projects from small community-scale campaigns to award-winning schemes. Below are some of the projects we’re no longer working on, but whose legacy can still be seen today!

Nenescape
Overview
The Nenescape Landscape Partnership was a Heritage Lottery Funded scheme, focused on the transition of the Nene Valley from a working landscape to a recreational space with significant historical and wildlife interest.
All of this must learn to coexist alongside a large, increasing human population; modern industry and agriculture.
Rockingham Forest Vision: 'Building the Links'
Overview
Building the Links for Rockingham Forest was a partnership project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and led by Nene Rivers Trust. The project aimed to re-engage people in the ancient Rockingham Forest through events, training and education.
