Local Nature Recovery Strategies (LNRS) are a new Government initiative of spatial strategies for nature established by the Environment Act 2021. The LNRS is a tool designed to encourage more coordinated practical and focused action and investment in nature.
They will be used to help map the Nature Recovery Network, which is a UK Government commitment in its 25-Year Environment Plan.
We are working with the Wildlife Trust BCN and Natural England to develop the LNRS for Northamptonshire. Take a look at what’s happening and how you can get involved here: Northamptonshire’s LNRS
